Logo design project for a music company that promotes Hawaiian artists
Kainoa wanted The Logo Factory to design their new corporate image in a way that would appeal to the 18 – 49 demographic, while still maintaining a Hawaiian flair that reflected the firms music artists – mainly local bands and performers. The logo was based very loosely on Hawaiian icons and ancient carvings, but generic enough to avoid any recognition problems (some logos have been know to feature icons that unknowingly represent ancient gods with specialties that don’t work well with marketing endeavors). The character was also designed to usable with the stylized logo font (shown above) or as a standalone icon that could be used as an accent in stationery design, letterhead design and or brochure design.
